Account and data deletion

Delete your LifeBook account

LifeBook stores different kinds of information in different places. Deleting the Firebase account does not automatically erase local records, Google Drive backups, exported files, or Google Play purchase history. This page explains each layer and the action required for it.

1. What a “LifeBook account” means

Most LifeBook features can be used locally without creating a mandatory online profile. A Firebase account is generally created or used when you sign in for paid-pass purchase verification or paid-pass restoration.

Local LifeBook records

Diaries, notes, finances, tasks, health logs, inventories, contacts, plans, and many other feature records are normally stored on your device.

Google Drive connection

Drive backup uses Google authorization for the app-specific backup area. Connecting Drive does not by itself create the Firebase paid-pass account.

Firebase premium account

Firebase Authentication and Firestore may be used to identify the paid-pass account and store the verified entitlement.

Google Play purchase records

Google Play separately maintains transaction and order records under its own terms and legal obligations.

One deletion action does not erase every layer. Use the relevant steps below for local records, Drive backups, Firebase account data, and exported files.

2. Before you request deletion

Account deletion can remove your ability to restore a paid pass or retrieve account-associated entitlement information. Before continuing:

  • Export any records that you are legally permitted to keep.
  • Verify that important local information has been copied safely.
  • Review and delete unwanted Google Drive snapshots separately.
  • Save Google Play order information needed for a payment dispute.
  • Remove or redact sensitive files already shared with other apps.
  • Understand that deletion does not automatically create a refund.
Deletion may be irreversible. After cloud account and entitlement records are removed, the same account may no longer be able to restore the previous paid-pass status.

3. How to request account deletion

Method A: Delete inside LifeBook, when available

Some LifeBook versions may provide an in-app deletion option. When your installed version shows it:

  1. Open LifeBook.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Open LifeBook Pass or Account.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Read the deletion summary and confirm the request.
  6. Sign in again if recent authentication is required.

Method B: Request deletion by email

This method can be used when the App is unavailable, the in-app option is not present, or you cannot complete the in-app process.

  1. Send the message from the Google email address used for the LifeBook paid-pass account whenever possible.
  2. Use the subject Delete my LifeBook account.
  3. State that you want the Firebase Authentication account and associated LifeBook cloud entitlement data deleted.
  4. Mention whether you also need help identifying Drive backups.
  5. Wait for a verification or completion response.

4. Delete LifeBook data stored on your device

Deleting the online account does not automatically erase the local Hive database, media files, recordings, preferences, PDFs, images, or exports stored on your phone.

Option 1: Delete records inside LifeBook

  • Open each feature and delete the relevant records.
  • Use a clear-all-data option where LifeBook provides one.
  • Delete saved media and recordings through their feature controls.

Option 2: Clear all LifeBook application storage

  1. Open Android Settings.
  2. Open Apps or Applications.
  3. Select LifeBook.
  4. Open Storage or Storage & cache.
  5. Select Clear storage or Clear data.

Option 3: Uninstall LifeBook

Uninstalling normally removes the App's private local storage, but it may not remove files previously exported to Downloads, Documents, a gallery, an external folder, another application, or cloud storage.

5. Delete Google Drive backups

LifeBook Drive snapshots belong to the Google account that was connected for backup. They are separate from the Firebase premium account.

  1. Open LifeBook Settings.
  2. Open the Google Drive backup or Backup Vault.
  3. Review active snapshots and their dates.
  4. Move unwanted snapshots to Recently Deleted.
  5. Use permanent deletion when you no longer need recovery.
  6. Disconnect Drive after confirming the required snapshots are removed.
Revoking Google access is not the same as deleting backups. Revoking permission stops future LifeBook access, but existing backup files may remain until they are deleted through the Backup Vault or another supported Google account process.

Snapshots in LifeBook's recycle state may remain recoverable for approximately 30 days before permanent cleanup.

6. Delete Firebase account and cloud entitlement data

A verified request is intended to remove the LifeBook Firebase Authentication account and account-associated cloud information controlled by Nuevo Digital Lab.

This may include:

  • Firebase user ID and authentication account.
  • Email address and display name stored for the premium account.
  • Current paid-pass entitlement record.
  • Pass plan, product ID, status, purchase source, and expiry date.
  • Account-linked cloud profile information.

Deleting the Firebase account does not delete your Google account, Gmail, Google Drive account, Google Play account, or information controlled independently by Google.

8. Delete exported and shared files

LifeBook cannot automatically retrieve or delete files after they have been exported, printed, copied, or shared.

Check and delete files from:

  • Downloads and Documents folders.
  • Photo gallery or media folders.
  • Email attachments and sent messages.
  • Messaging applications.
  • Cloud-storage applications.
  • Printers and print-service history.
  • Computers or devices to which files were copied.
  • Recipients who received the file.

9. Data normally deleted after a verified request

Subject to identity verification, technical completion, and lawful retention requirements, the following account-associated information controlled by the Developer is intended to be deleted:
  • LifeBook Firebase Authentication user account.
  • Current Firebase paid-pass entitlement document.
  • Cloud profile data associated with the LifeBook user ID.
  • Other LifeBook account data controlled by Nuevo Digital Lab.

10. Data that may be retained

Some information may be retained for a limited or legally required period when necessary for:

  • Security and fraud prevention.
  • Purchase-token misuse prevention.
  • Payment, tax, accounting, and audit obligations.
  • Resolving refunds, chargebacks, complaints, or legal disputes.
  • Complying with a valid legal requirement.
  • Protecting users, the Developer, or third-party services.

Retained records may include purchase-token hashes, product IDs, order or transaction metadata, processing timestamps, consumption status, and records necessary to demonstrate that a purchase was previously used.

Retention does not mean that deleted LifeBook journals, financial books, health logs, contacts, or ordinary personal feature records are transferred into the purchase ledger.

11. How deletion requests are verified

To prevent another person from deleting your account, Nuevo Digital Lab may ask for reasonable verification.

Verification may include:

  • Sending the request from the signed-in email address.
  • Confirming the LifeBook premium-account email.
  • Providing a limited Google Play order reference when relevant.
  • Signing in again when recent authentication is required.
  • Answering a narrowly tailored account-ownership question.
Never send your password, OTP, complete payment-card details, private backup passphrase, or Google account recovery code.

12. Deletion timeline

Verified requests are normally processed within 30 days. A longer period may be required when:

  • Identity cannot be verified promptly.
  • A payment dispute or chargeback is open.
  • A legal obligation requires limited retention.
  • A third-party platform must complete part of the process.
  • Technical recovery or security investigation is necessary.

You may receive a confirmation when the Developer-controlled account deletion is complete.

13. What happens after deletion

  • You may be signed out of the Firebase premium account.
  • Paid-pass restoration may no longer work for the deleted account.
  • Local LifeBook records can remain until you delete them separately.
  • Google Drive snapshots can remain until separately deleted.
  • Google Play order history remains subject to Google's controls.
  • Creating or verifying a new purchase later may create a new account record.
Deleting and later recreating an account does not guarantee recovery of the previous entitlement, profile, or cloud record.
